Manta Dynamics is currently a project name and is not yet a separately incorporated legal entity.
2. Purpose of the website
This website is a temporary teaser providing general information about Manta Dynamics and the Manta scientific software project. It does not currently provide user accounts, online purchases, subscriptions or personalised services.
3. Website access and technical logs
When you access this website, the infrastructure used to deliver and secure it may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, browser and operating-system information, referring page, and security or error information.
This processing is necessary to provide the website, maintain its security, diagnose errors and prevent misuse. Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required by the relevant service provider.
4. Cloudflare
The domain manta-dynamics.com is registered and its DNS is managed through Cloudflare. Depending on the services enabled for the domain, Cloudflare may process limited network and request data to provide domain, DNS, security, proxy or content-delivery services.
Cloudflare may process data in countries outside Switzerland. Cloudflare describes its processing and international-transfer safeguards in its own privacy policy.
5. Contact by email
The contact links on this website open your local email application. The website itself does not use a contact-form backend and does not transmit form data to a website server.
If you contact info@manta-dynamics.com, the information contained in your message—such as your name, email address and message content—will be processed to respond to your enquiry and manage any related correspondence. It will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or to meet legal obligations.
6. Theme preference and local storage
The website stores your selected light or dark theme in your browser using local storage under the key mantaTheme. This preference remains on your device, is not used for analytics or advertising, and can be removed by clearing the website data in your browser.
7. Cookies, analytics and embedded services
This teaser website does not currently use analytics services, advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, social-media pixels or embedded third-party media. No non-essential cookie banner is therefore included.
Cloudflare or the eventual hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies for security, traffic management or reliable delivery. This policy should be updated before analytics, tracking, a contact-form service or other third-party integrations are enabled.
8. Data recipients and international processing
Personal data may be processed by technical service providers only where necessary to operate the website, manage the domain, deliver email or protect the service. These providers may include Cloudflare and the providers used for website hosting and email delivery.
Where data is processed outside Switzerland, the operator will rely on the safeguards provided by applicable law and the relevant service-provider agreements.
9. Data security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. However, no transmission over the internet or by ordinary email can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
